Privacy Notice

Effective 27 July 2026

This notice explains how The Order handles personal data when you visit runtheorder.com, complete the diagnostic, join an email series, contact us, or purchase The Order through Gumroad.

1. Data we collect

2. Why we use it

Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

3. Email communications

We send marketing or nurture emails only after an affirmative sign-up. The diagnostic sign-up identifies the series before submission. Every marketing email will provide an unsubscribe method. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to deliver or support a purchase.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate The Order, including Netlify for hosting, Brevo for contact and email automation, Gumroad for checkout and digital delivery, Google Analytics for measurement, Meta for advertising measurement, and Microsoft Clarity for site-behaviour analysis. They process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

These providers may process data outside Qatar, including in the United States and European Economic Area. We take reasonable steps to use providers and contractual arrangements appropriate to the information and the service.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The site and its providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for essential operation, measurement, attribution, and advertising. Browser controls can restrict these technologies, although parts of the service or measurement may then work differently. We do not put email addresses or individual diagnostic answers into analytics or advertising event payloads.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe or the record is no longer needed. Purchase, refund, support, security, and accounting records may be kept for the period required by applicable law or legitimate record-keeping needs. Analytics retention is governed by the settings of the relevant platform.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal data about you and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. You may also unsubscribe using the link in an email. Send requests to info@runtheorder.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Security and children

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. The Order is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.

The data controller is The Order. Questions, requests, or complaints can be sent to info@runtheorder.com.

This notice describes The Order’s current operating practices. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified legal professional regarding your specific compliance obligations.
